In 2010, an opportunity presented itself whereby the decision was made to pull together the best of the best of other knives used by chefs and home-cooks alike, to create the ultimate knife. From design to manufacturing, the genesis of our beautiful and distinctive knife became a reality. The company was launched simul-taneously into the US & UK markets by cousins David Ring & Steven Mould, Co-Founders driving the business forward today, along with Steven’s wife Lisa. Their passion and commitment to continue pushing boundaries is woven into day-to-day business.

CO-FOUNDER
An entrepreneur and business owner from an early age, David has created, launched, and continues to direct several of his own companies in varying capacities. His background is steeped in direct sales and the development of retail products. His ambition also lies within the naturopathic & wellness light-based fields. And, he is a Co-Founder of Prodigy Autism, an ABA therapy center.
CO-FOUNDER
His leadership and communication skills honed whilst a proud England police officer and detective, led Steven to a successful career in sales and management. Since founding Flint & Flame, Steven has become acquainted with some of the best Chefs in the world, who remain friends to this day. Their guidance has been fundamental to the growth of the business and developing the fantastic range of Flint & Flame products. Steven is an Honorary Fellow at Westminster Kingsway College, President of DSC Central Florida -and husband to Lisa Lazure.
CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP DIRECTOR
After an established career as a Senior Executive across international marketing and publicity for television and film studios, Lisa joined the family business soon after she met her husband, Steven Mould in 2016. As luck would have it, their careers in the culinary space brought them together at a food festival when Lisa was with Food Network. The Chefs she worked with loved Steven’s knives…and well..the rest is history! Lisa is also Secretary, DSC Central Florida.
